Selection Process

A SOCWA application must be completed and returned prior to the due date to be eligible for consideration.  Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of an application, but may be attached.  All applications will be evaluated on the candidate's qualifications with the most competitive applicants being invited to participate in an oral interview.  The selection process will include an evaluation of the applicants’ ability to perform the duties as described in the job description and his/her qualification and background.  References will be checked prior to any offer of employment to verify information given during the interview process. All applicants offered employment by SOCWA must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen prior to the first day of employment.
