The goal of SOCWA’s business activities is to ensure the acquisition of quality goods and services at the lowest total cost for the Authority and to promote fair and open competition among suppliers. Under the authority of the California Government Code and the Procurement Policies and Procedures adopted by the Authority’s Board of Directors, the Procurement/Contracts Department coordinates the competitive bidding process for a full range of business and engineering services and requirements.

Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Vendors are encouraged to make an appointment prior to visiting Procurement/Contract personnel. Courtesy visits are not encouraged in order to minimize work interruptions.
