SOCWA works actively on behalf of its member agencies and the customers they serve to track and influence legislation and permitting and regulatory matters that could affect its ability to provide South Orange County with reliable wastewater treatment services in a cost-effective manner. SOCWA also acts as the regional liaison to municipalities and the County of Orange to find mutually beneficial solutions to local concerns including urban runoff, watershed protection and development issues.
