During this crisis, the South Orange County Wastewater Authority (SOCWA) continues its mission to protect public health and the environment. The coronavirus pandemic is serious and we are taking the required and necessary precautions to ensure our workforce remains safe and healthy, while continuing to safely treat wastewater. At this time, SOCWA is operating all its treatment facilities while implementing necessary safety precautions, including staggered shifts and social distancing.
Additionally, SOCWA offices are closed to the public and all meetings, including board and committee meetings, are being held via teleconference or videoconference. The public may participate in meetings by joining in the telephone or video conference, and instructions will be posted on the website with each meeting agenda. Persons needing special accommodations should contact SOCWA directly.
SOCWA urges all to follow county, state and federal requirements during this difficult time. Please email your questions and comments to the General Manager, Betty Burnett, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Information regarding drinking water supplies is available from your local water provider.
