Recycled Water Permitting

The-System

Recycled Water is produced at two of the three wastewater treatment plants owned and operated by SOCWA on behalf of its member agencies. Permits for the reuse of wastewater as recycled water are managed and granted by the Regional Water Quality Control Boards, and SOCWA staff works closely with regional regulatory agencies and with the State Water Board as it considers new requirements for the continuing use of recycled water.
