ENGINEERING COMMITTEE

SOCWA’s Engineering Committee is an advisory panel formed by the Board of Directors to coordinate, advise and oversee all engineering and technical matters. The committee is comprised of technical employees from member agencies, and receives support from SOCWA staff. The committee’s primary duties include an annual review of SOCWA’s capital budgets and assisting SOCWA staff in development, review, analysis and planning of technical, engineering and capital projects.

The Engineering Committee meets at SOCWA’s Administrative Office on the second Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. Members of the public interested in attending Engineering Committee meetings should check the listing of agendas to the right to be sure of meeting dates.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The SOCWA Finance Committee is an advisory committee formed by the Board of Directors to provide oversight for the agency’s financial activities and fiscal affairs. The committee’s primary duties include reviewing financial reports and disbursements, recommending policy and procedural changes, approving expenditures and coordinating an annual external audit.

The Finance Committee meets at SOCWA’s Administrative Office on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. Members of the public interested in attending Finance Committee meetings should check the listing of agendas to the right to be sure of meeting dates.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Executive Committee is an advisory panel formed by the Board of Directors to coordinate and oversee all personnel matters. The Executive Committee also reviews and makes recommendations on SOCWA policy matters before consideration by the full Board. The Executive Committee receives support from the General Manager and SOCWA staff.
